Hi! I’m Ozlem, designer and maker at OG LDN studios
Born and bred in East London, a creative career was probably always on the cards.
Jewellery stole my heart early on. Every year my family would travel to their home to Turkey, and I always came back with a new piece (or two) of jewellery that held a story and sentiment of its own.I feel the cultural significance of jewellery is part of my heritage, and this rich history feeds into my work albeit not traditionally.

In 2015 If finally turned mypassion into action and started studying the design and bench skills that allowed me to launch OG LDN in late 2020.
I believe in authenticity and considered,responsible design. 

My design process is very hands on, with lots of experimentation and the meticulous processes of jewellery making, spoke to my background in the optical industry. I draw widely from the creative spectrum and as a visual person I take inspiration from music, other creatives ,fashion, photography and contemporary art - basically anything that feeds my inner visual vulture.

All my jewellery starts life at my East London studio/workshop, and I  also work with specialised craftspeople  in Hatton Garden.
